so, its been awhile
and it seems even longer when you are sort of down with writer's block.

I suck!
those watching one tree hill, would know what i mean.
i know right now, im being totally random and my sentences don't seem to make sense.
yeah, cos' my brain is not making any sense to me either.
HELP!

anyway, what have i been doing these past few weeks?
well, im in KL.
been going to college to study and do the vision magazine with annora.
helped out at an education fair - boy, was that tiring!
applied for uni.
going to apply for other universities.
and going back next week. weeeeee...

i think that about sums up how im spending my holidays.
staying up late, does nothing to make my back better. (i feel like an old lady already)

so, yeah.

my second home

its been awhile seen i updated and yeah, i may be losing my readers.

1st i would like to congratulate my juniors on a job well done, in the national marching band competition. they got 2nd and i was so impressed. *proud face*
GOOD JOB!!!
VI got 3rd, so we actually beat them.HAHAHAHAHA. finally. *big grin*

anyway, what i really wanted to write about is that my 2nd home is not Sri Impian but the college SSU.
today is a thursday and i practically have no class. the reason i came to college is a little bit blurry now and i havent the slightest clue on why i chose to come. one possible reason would be that i had a meeting to plan the upcoming Vision magazine. other than that, i think there are no possible explanations on why i came.
or maybe because i love not getting extra hours of sleeps *thinking of pree* LOL
or maybe, i wanted to do my homework and study?
or maybe i just wanted to laze around the SSU and read online manga.
i know, i live a sad life.

i never realized that i actually spend a considerable number of hours in the SSU (Student Services Unit, for those who dont know) until i had a meeting with Kai Li, our editor-in-chief. the conversation :

Alithea : Hi, sorry my brain is not functioning very well now, need some time to kick in. (was sleeping in the SSU, just woke up)
Kai Li : I can see that. haha

*fast forward*

Alithea : Wen Jo, can you pass me my laptop?
Kai Li : Alithea, you practically live here ar?
Alithea : yeah hor, come to think of it. I spend almost all my free time here. 'Cos i can sleep here, i can't sleep in the library. LOL

so, to all the people who wants to find me, i'll be in the SSU =)

when hectic-ness becomes second nature

for the past 2 weeks, me and my bunch of friends on the student council have been pretty busy.
staying in college pass our schooling hours, all in the name of the upcoming treasure hunt.
we spent hours upon hours getting the booklet done and the clues finish. run around the place with a paper and a pen like a bunch of psychos. and then we stare at each other blankly, to come up with some interesting poems, or a word that rhymes with bus. (may not be accurate, for security reasons) LOL

we checked each stations, so that what we found out the last time was still there.
and certain things were definitely missing.
so, what we had to do was start from scratch. it almost brought me to tears (boohoo)
all the hard work, and scratching of heads to come up with catchy clues when down the drain. sad sad.

but all in all, working with them has been a blast and knowing that we gave our best efforts, makes the end product even better. =)

so, enough of treasure hunt talk.
its the inter-class games. and being sports rep, i was put in charge of it - to add to the load of treasure hunt.
everyone in college is now in this sports mode, everywhere you can see people in tshirts and shorts. getting their gear on, and getting ready their rackets and balls. everyone staying back to hit, chase and throw some balls around the place. pretty interesting!

anyway, hope i get to be of some use in netball on tuesday. i know im not really good with balls. haha.

kinda tired, i think im gonna catch some zzzZZZzzzz

a good vacation

I'm back in Kuantan for those who didn't know.

HOME SWEET HOME

since im having my 2 weeks break. well, it's almost over and im going back this friday. sad sad
i will describe to you, how my holidays went.

1. i wake up late everyday. around 10 or 11am. sometimes little bob is there to greet me. force my lazy butt out of bed, and go and clean up.

2. i walk outside, drink a cup of water. see whether mum bought breakfast. but i try not to eat so much, its almost time for lunch anyway.

3. nothing much to do, i watch TV. im making full use of the astro because once i go back to KL i dont have TV to watch. you can't have everything in life, you see. LOL

4. play with bob for awhile. then i laze around some more. seriously, there is nothing to do.

5. bob is put to sleep, he sleeps longer nowadays. so it adds to my boredom.

6. dad comes home, we eat lunch. then he goes into the room to take a nap.

7. fast forward. its time for my dad to go back to work and then its time for bob to go home. of course he wakes up and i play with him for awhile.

8. left at home, with nothing to do. i go and sleep again. and wake up a few hours later.


so, to sum it all up : what i really did this holidays is sleep and eat, sleep some more and sleep some more. i think im asleep more than i am awake. my excuse : im paying back all the sleep debt i accumulated during the whole exam period. (smart!) which is true!
the other reason would be the Euro Cup. been staying up all night to watch the matches.
the match between Spain and Italy?? awesome, but i nearly riped off the two pillows i was hiding behind. things i do when its a penalty shoot-out. LOL

and my take on a well spent vacation is :
you get to sleep a lot and do nothing.
you have no exams to study for.
you laze around the house.
you eat good food, and put on some weight in the process.
you sleep half the day, and be all awake for football in the wee hours of the morning, munching on your pillow case. HEHE

anyway, its only for the moment lah. im going back to KL this friday and college starts on monday. but at the moment, i having the best holiday ever.........

so, i went and check regina's blog again today, i found out that she has actually updated it. maybe i was so used to seeing no change on her blog that, i haven't check to see if she did update it. hehe

alithea's day out

first, i have a confession to make : i really don't like moral, never liked it since SPM.

moral is so annoying, kill me now.
"here's a knife, do something with a knife"

however, i'll study it, to get the results. i'll try to make moral my friend. =S
i'll tttrrrryyyyyy.

why am i freaking out for moral? simple : fear of the UNKNOWN. ngeh!

anyway, back to topic. about my day out. today marks the day i officially end my a levels trials excluding tomorrow's moral exams.ngeh.

but before we go into details about my little outing, i would like to share something about myself.

i think my bladder has a mind of its own. seriously. i knew i drank a lot of water in the morning, so before i went in to take my lit 6 exam, i went to the toilet, just to be save. u know, so that u don't have the urge in the middle of writing your incredibly not short-not long essay.
however, even with my quick trip to the loo, my bladder managed to fill itself up right at the moment i was finishing my 1st question of the exams paper.
so, i have come to the conclusion that my bladder, works in mysterious ways.
or, it becomes very 'efficient' (quoting Wen Shan) during exams. great.
i shall make more trips to the bathroom then. =)

well, the outing.
we were all doing the moral project and antony was REALLY hungry. shan on the other hand, was having writer's block. nigel was writing about the feed wen shan fund. i was stoning and talking nonsense, as usual. =)

so we decided to go to bangsar to makan. and i suggested we go to Marco's to makan, 'cause i wanted to eat pizza.mmmmm.
(don't tell pree, she'll be angry we didn't call her along) haha
after eating we went and jalan-jalan in BV 2. then i went into L'occitane (i think it's spelled like that) to search for a birthday present for my aunt. and the crazy shop sells products with a starting price of at least a hundred ringgit. CRAZY!!!

however, i can say, i was productive today. i bought, well antony and i bought a pair of socks which we think is pretty awesome and out of this world. retail therapy ROCKS!!!!


yeah, it's socks. not shoes. ngeh, ngeh.

so this is the highlight of my day. hilarious.

ps, when ignored by shan and antony during lunch/dinner at Marco's, take pictures of your ice lemon tea, to reduce boredom. =)

funny feelings

i think i have reach a point where i can say, i shall not put anything else in my brain but let it rest and pray to God it will remember everything.

i always have this funny feeling that if i read something then switch to something else, i'll forget what i just read before that something else.
i also always have this funny feeling that if i talk to much, the information in my brain would flow out and vanish with every word i say.

strange i know, but that is how i feel.seriously, this sucks!
how do we study for unprepared poetry? do we prepare something unprepared? or should we just be unprepared?
im confused! =S

alithea's normal day

alithea's 1st alarm clock rings, she hits snooze button.

alithea's 2nd alarm clock rings, she switches it off.

looks at the time, forces herself to wake up.

gives wake up call to antony, her friend cum driver. dials number, is greeted with his tweety bird caller ringtone. "i am a little towns bird, my name is tweety pie,......"

alithea calls until he hangs up, telling her that he has woken up.

she opens her eyes to see if anyone is using the bathroom, if there is she takes a short nap. if not, she pushes herself out of bed, stands up, walks outside, takes towel, switches on the light and the heater for the bathroom.

hangs towel, brushes teeth. stares at face for awhile, sees that her hair is a mess, but just grunts, never a person who talks much in the wee hours of the mornings.

chooses the day's apparel, brings it to the bathroom.

takes bath. combs crazy hair.

hangs towel outside in the living room, to dry.

wears name tag, watch and all the other gears she wears on her wrist.

brings school bags and books outside. puts in bottle of water. then goes and have breakfast : normally bread with the choice spread of the day.

waits for bread to toast,clips crazy hair with her hair pins. she hates her fringe.

*bing* toaster goes off, spread whatever she chose and eats it.takes a cup of water with her.

sits at the couch, munches on bread.too tired to care about her surroundings, just sits there and stares into space.

after eating, cleans utensils. sits back down.brings handphone out, puts on stomach,for better reflects when it rings.closes eye, naps for awhile.

handphone driller sound goes off. *grrrrrrlllll* looks at it.

Downstairs.

goes out of the house, takes the elevator down, waits for antony for awhile, then heads off to college.
