laughing workaholic

kids are at their funniest when they are at their worst.

been helping my aunt mark her english tuition class books.
and boy, have i had my fair share of good laughs while marking those books, or should i say smoldering the essays with my red pen.
i'm not saying that they're not good, they just need a little fine tuning.
for some, for others well, lets just say they need more practice.

here's a snippet which i found really amusing. not that it was bad, it was just funny.

'...you won't miss my house, it's the only one with the blue gate. if you can't find it, you really need to see a doctor...'

i couldnt stop laughing.

i've got the flu?

something funny happened today.
something that i must share.


my mum and i have been discussing about changing my maxis broadband to a celcom one,
so, we talked to the people and everything.
it's definitely cheaper, but i would have to pay RM350 for the modem
which i already have, from the maxis one.

so today i wanted to go there again, and check whether i could use my maxis usb modem but use a celcom line.

so i was happily walking to the shop and i smiled to the personnel all the while holding my maxis broadband modem.
stares greeted me instead
there was also down right apprehension in the room.
they were quite surprised that i was walking into a celcom shop.
it was like my maxis broadband carried with it the A H1N1 virus.
the people working there looked at my modem as if it was the plague.

it was kinda funny because there i was, smiling away, holding it
like the harbinger of the swine flu.
haha.
and the personnel who attended to me, asked his boss whether i can use the modem or not, the boss couldnt even look at the modem without detesting it.
i think he wanted to take the modem and smash it into a million pieces.
poor maxis modem.

apparently not only do i have an OCD,
im a clean freak, a martian, am very self conscious and have an inferiority complex

of myself and singing in public

as most of you know, that I for one, CANNOT sing in public.
i prefer to serenade to my toilet bowl, and use the shower head as a microphone.
the only way you could actually hear me sing is either that im standing beside you during worship or that your ear is awfully near the bathroom door when im taking a shower.

STALKER!!
my shower singing days are numbered.
sad.

so, anyway, pree said im very self conscious.
in a way, yeah lah.
but, i do like baggy pants and big shirts.
they're comfy.

besides that, pree also said i have an inferiority complex.
like how i dont trust my voice to be worthy enough to sing in public.
i just malu mah.
cannot meh?
and she also said that that's why i dont wear a dress often.

its not that.
no point explaining myself.
so, in conclusion, im very self conscious and have an inferiority complex.
i think i should crawl to a corner and hide now.


but, it's times like this that you should make fun of yourself.
makes you feel better.
trust me, i look better when im acting weird, than when im acting normal.

by the beach, bumming all day. not contributing to global warming because i won't be using any thing i don't need. very economical too. =D

i have just learnt that i have a pretty good sense of direction.
i can just hear my sis going "self praise is NO praise" with her lala hairstyle.
internally, i'll be laughing at her mushroom fringe. kids these days. sigh.

anyway, its been awhile since i wrote something funny. so yeah about directions.
if you ask me how to go somewhere, this is what i will reply :

"it's somewhere, near somewhere."

which is not entirely wrong if you come to think of it. just maybe it's not that accurate and you might not find what you were looking for. =D
