when in the movies

a big shout out to february babies. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
i know there were a few =D

anyway, as the title above would have made it pretty obvious to you readers,
im here to tell you my top 5 things NOT to do in the cinema.
you see, saturday's movie with my cousin and former college mate would have been great if not for the beyond irritating couple next to me. it was like they had a last minute spontaneous urge to watch a chinese movie which im pretty sure they neither understood nor paid attention to.

so, without further delay, my top 5 cinema ethics.

5. Never come late when you have seats in the center. this is especially important in movies with a lot of dialogue or action. i really dont want to see your behind even if it is for a few seconds. worst, if you cant find your seats and keep changing positions.

4. Never answer your phone and talk for half the movie. i think this goes without saying. if you have to, talk outside if it is very urgent or say you'll call back later in a whisper, if not so important.

3. When eating popcorn or slurping drinks, eat or slurp softly. didnt your mother teach you manners? i think a lot of people would appreciate it if you didnt go "chomp chomp chomp, slurp slurp slurp" in the cinema.

2. When in the movies, and if you need to open your legs really wide, please go and buy 2 seats, so that you dont go banging other people's leg. its not only annoying, its unhygienic especially for people like me. i really dont know where those pants of yours went rubbing against. *shivers*

and of course the BIG no. ONE

1. Please please PLEASE dont talk in the cinema. i really dont need commentaries throughout the duration of the movie. and if you really have to be all lovey dovey and ber-dating in the cinema, go sit in like a secluded area far from watchful eyes and attentive ears and also from people like me who actually wants to watch the movie in peace. go buy those couple seats, i heard they are big and comfy.

fuh! anger management.
im not being demanding, i just want my money to be worth it.
free from unwanted noises and irritating disturbances.
to that couple who sat next to me on saturday night and irritated the crap out of me, i really hope you dont find another poor soul to torture. once is truely enough.
